This project aims to improve the quality of life of communities displaced during the Colombian conflicts by providing access to solar energy and training on production and commercialization of agri-products. The project intends to build a scalable model to serve 450.000 people.

Background

Community El Bagre in Antioquia with 30 households displaced by the Colombian conflicts, located in a remote area (1 day from the nearest village) live with less than $ 2,5 a day and do not have access to public services, such as education or health.

 

The community lives mainly from rice, fish, coca plantation and mining. Where mining and coca plantation are illegal activities.
